Hi any recommend on Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner Disinfectant for kicken, bathroom, sink... that CONTAIN NO BLEACH !! that also sell in a big jug gallon to use to fill into a small bottle. Im currently using clorox All Purpose Cleaner Disinfectant, but it had bleach in it and its destroy most of my sprayer, and I read all heavy duty spayer bottle say bleach will damage it. I need alternative to All Purpose Cleaner Disinfectant...

thanks

why do you NEED anti-bacterial?

Unless your operating a hospital out of your home, IMHO, nobody "needs" antibacterial anything. It's just another way the big companies sell you [censored] you don't need and can actually be harmful to your health. Especially not anything you should be putting into yoru body (toothpaste).

Bacteria is good for you!

A simple detergent like Castile soap can work wonders in several places including bathroom, kitchen etc. even the dishes get the same soap I use when washing the floor.

Never had a cold/flu for over 6 years

Read last two issues of Consumer Reports for advice on household cleaners.

Honestly, I keep Clorox or Seventh Generation disinfecting wipes around for when I need to kill germs after cross-contamination. I use Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds for everything else.

That article deals with probiotics, which is an entirely different subject than cleaning and killing harmful bacteria in a kitchen or bathroom. You're trying to compare apples and bananas.

If you think that all bacteria is good for you, then I encourage you to spend some time licking the toilet bowl. All that E.coli should make you extremely healthy.

I suppose if your cooking skills don't go beyond a can of soup then it's not a problem. However, contamination and cross-contamination from meat juices can be a problem and can easily make people very sick. Not keeping a clean, sanitary kitchen is downright stupid.

I assume you understand that colds and the flu are not caused by bacteria, which is the subject of this thread.

Agreed, I don't understand the "anti-bacterial" fad. It's a fact that some bacteria can become resistant to Triclosan, a common anti-bacterial agent. Meanwhile, by killing off bacteria, your immune system can't develop antibodies against them. I don't use anti-bacterial anything, just wash my hands with soap and water, and very seldom get sick. I know people who go overboard with anti-bacterial soaps, wipe down everything they touch with anti-bacterial wipes, and are often sick with something. Hmm...

I think there is truth in the words, "That which does not kill you makes you stronger".

You just described my coworker, that guy uses hand gel and wipes like it's going out of style and is sick more often even though his kids are at home where as mine are in primary school, otherwise known as a festering pool of germs.
