I have been running MC 5w30 in the Stang (see sig for stats) with great results however, could not pass up the great deal I got on Napa synthetic 5w30. Will I be pleased with the results? Stang gets about 5k a year and I change oil at least twice a year (crazy I know)so basically running MC blend for 2.5k then OCI.

It was actually 3.29 qt and now MC is 3.27 so I figured it's a no-brainer

+1.....1 year OCI should work great.....and if it is Valvoline...so much the better. IMO, Valvoline is an excellent oil...right up there with the best.

I`ve wondered about the Napa synthetic 15W50. Is it a "Synpower" clone? And if it`s made by Ashland, how come there`s no Synpower 15W50?

NAPA oil is made by Ashland (owners of Valvoline) and is very close to Valvoline but not quite. When someone on here asked Ashland, they confirmed they make NAPA synthetic and said it's similar to Valvoline SynPower but with a weaker additive package. The UOAs on here have shown the additive package to be different, but that NAPA synthetic is a quality oil that can be used with confidence.

I knew it was something like that.
