napa prices!

so i just checked napa prices on their platinum filters cause i was thinking about getting one. last i checked they were just over $8. very reasonable imo. i checked to and it is showing $12.50.. what the [censored]. when did this happen?

They were on sale last month. As were the Gold's. I got a bunch of them for 5 dollars.

I've never used the new Platinum NAPA filters, since they did not have them is stock at my locations, for the applications I was looking for.

IMO...These NAPA GOLD, when they are on sale, are a great filter for a great price.

For that price you can get a Mobil 1 or maybe even a Amsoil Ea.
Are there any posts of a cut away of a Platinum?

Or the Wix equivalent, anytime, if you buy the masterpack. Less than $5 each. Amazon auto parts...get a few years worth.

I just bought a Napa Platinum for about $12.50 to fit a Mazda MX5. I have decided to buy Gold's for the vehicles I don't drive much and Platinum's for the ones that get a lot of use and rack up the miles between OCI's.

Anyone know what the micron filtering difference between the Gold and Platinum is?

imo they are better than mobil 1. mobil 1 is not a fully synthetic media. amsoil ea is but they are costly. $8 was a good deal.

You really need to search first both questions were posted long ago,napa had a promotional sale all last month(AUG.) and theres a whole thread with pics on these great filters.
