My key fob died and I can't find the battery

When I opened it to change the battery, to my astonishment, I saw no battery. A friend also looked and could find no battery. What do the good folks here think about this? I've never seen such a fob, although I've only seen three. Is there a battery hidden in here somewhere? I'm wondering if the center piece needs replacement and programming.

yup the video shows it.. that's exactly like my scion tC key.. the battery is in the center module. You have to turn it over, then open that lid..
