I have nothing against high priced, ultra-premium products. I've used them in the past, but they just are not always appropirate for all vehicles and purposes.

I have a '97 Continental that acts as my mule. I do my best to keep her looking good and had a little extra time this afternoon so I put on a single coat of this stuff ($0.99 WM clearance):

Worked pretty well. Easy on, easy off. Looks good. Not sure how long it will last, but I guess I'll find out. Sorry for the poor photo, I really don't know how to photograph white paint to capture the shine effectively. The picture doesn't do it justice, but you can see the reflection of the Subaru in the rear quarter. Not bad for a nearly 14 year old car with 116K miles that lives outside.

I've owned this car for about 4 years and have waxed it 3 times including this one. I would love to do it more, but with 4 cars, demanding job, home improvements, 2 year old daughter...well, you get the idea. I'd say it was a buck well spent.

Looks good. Remember you get what you paid for according to some here.

That was a well spent buck!

Looks great!

None of my cars ever look so nice. DuPont and 3M have some very good products for a very reasonable price. I like cheap but good stubs that on clearance shelve for a fraction of regular price.

yes, DuPont teflon wax goes on smooth and easy. I've been using it on wifey's camry since 2008 (when we bought the car used), and the results are mixed:

pros: goes on easy, decent gloss/shine.

cons: only last about 1 month in Northern summer weather.

Verdict: too much re-waxing required and I gave it up entirely this year (bought 2 bottles from AAP while they had a sale). I'm now using Nu-finish and it's been holding up very well (it's been over 1.5mnths since I first wax it with Nu-finish).

Looks good.

But remember that whichever wax/sealant makes very little difference on the final appearance of the paint.

Proper preparation-- which involves, claying, paint cleaning and polishing will have a significant impact on the results.

Have a couple cans of Kit wax that i've used on ocassion and it still gives a real nice shine, this stuff has been around forever

Thanks for the review.
I like wax products that remove easily, even if they only last a month or so.
Considering most waxes run $10 and more, seems like a dollar well spent.

Thanks for the positive comments. Once I fix the faulty fuel level sending unit, this old girl goes on Craigslist. It's a great car but totally redundant in my household. I've put nearly 40K mostly trouble-free miles on it and will hate to see it go, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

The wax was so easy on and off that I might throw a second coat on before she goes, if I get a warm enough day.

Kit has been around a long time. It goes on easy and looks good, but it's a lot like the basic Turtle Wax in that it doesn't last long at all. I think the wind blows this stuff off...
