I can't believe you mentioned this combination! I just completed my run of what may be a toxic stew.
The oil has been sent off for analysis. I also included moly in the mix to increase the fear factor.

(This has got to be that controversial thread I have been hearing so much about.)

Why one full bottle of ARX and 1.5 qt of 10W40?

Were you going to clean engine or use ARX as maintenance dose?

In cold weather the 1.5 qt of 10W40 could lower mpg and the cold weather cfuel formulatrion could contribute to lowering of mpg as well.

When I used ARX in maintenance dose, I always had a 0.5-1.5% increase in mpg, depending on vehicle.

I would think RLI 5W30 and a maintenance dose of ARX would be a great combo in terms of fuel savings.
