In the Vestal, NY store yesterday and saw a fairly comprehensive selection of Motorcraft filters. Prices were higher. E. G. The FL400S that I use is now 3.35 US$. Used to be 2.88 US$.
Motor oil prices have also risen considerably.

They're probably getting it through a different supplier, or Ford is forcing them to raise the price. One of the reasons I heard for the price increase is the dealers complaining about being undercut.
Part of that stupidity included taking STP oil filters out of their inventory a few years ago. Back then at least you had a choice for something other than Fram/junk.
