Has anyone had experience with this product or the manufacturer? Here's a link MotorSilk Link and their explanation of the product Explanation Link

Overall summary of their product: Designed for NASA as a friction reducer. It's not an oil "additive", it's an engine treatment. It is a one time treatment that reduces the friction inside your engine 80%. The product is heat activated, and permanently stays in the engine on the metal parts. The price is inviting, and they have the obvious entire product line to go with it (fuel additive, transmission additive etc.). On older engines your supposed to follow up with a quick 1K mile oil change because the additives do a lot of cleaning which turns the oil black.

If anyone's tried it let me know. I just did it today. Will know in a few months if it's worth it. After the research I did before buying it, I don't think it would hurt anyways.

So based on your post "Anything not already in an oil package is an additive"......... ARX is an additive then..

Auto-Rx is indeed an additive. You are adding it to your oil.

ARX is a specialized ester cleaner.

You already have a boron compound in most motor oils, so you don't need it.
