thanks for all responses and keep 'em coming,
Following the recommended OCI of 5k or 6 months whichever comes first for your Toyota?
Your engine will NOT know ANY difference between PP 5w-20 and the Mobil drive clean 5w-20.

Not to be confrontational and I respect other people’s opinions but I see this type of statement at least once a day on BITOG and I do not believe this is accurate. No question that today’s dinos are excellent but the OP will experience a difference between using M1 VS Mobil Clean 5000 (just using M1 as an example – you could replace M1 with any top tier syn for the purpose of this post). I use neither M1 or Mobil Clean 5000. M1 will provide faster flow cold, hot, or indifferent over Mobil Clean 5000. M1 will provide for a cleaner engine over time even if 5K OCIs are adhered to. M1 will run cooler than Mobil Clean 5000. Yes, coolant temp will be consistent but the oil temp will be less. The OP’s engine will turn more freely even if just slightly and could contribute to a modest, very modest increase if MPGs. On a steaming hot day running 75 to 80 on the Interstate the M1 will be less likely than Mobil Clean 500 to break /shear down and again, more efficiently draw heat away from the cylinder walls.
IMHO the benefits of using M1 over Mobil Clean 5000 outweigh the cost savings especially in a new truck. If you have an oil burner / leaker, a beater, or a limited term lease then use a dino and do not think twice. If you have a nice vehicle and plan to drive it well beyond the warranty period then do not skimp on your oil and filter.
