Mobil motor oil formulations are considered proprietary. The product has
been reformulated to increase oxidation protection, better fuel economy
retention, rust protection, heat stability, and engine cleaniless.

All this is is a list of GF-4 improvements.

Pennzoil could say the same thing about their PureBase GF-4 vs GF-3 oils.

Turning orange?
I hope your red antifreeze isn't mixing in there.

I have some Amsoil 0w30 and series 3000 oil in large clear containers and when held up to the light they both appear orange.

that is interesting, yesterday I was mixing in some old (last year) 15w50 with new 10w30, the 15w50 was much darker, thought it had to do with the weight diffrence

MSF, M1 used to get a wierd yellow/orange tint in my Chevy, that motor had lead problems,

maybe you should do a UOA?
You have to read between the lines. They did not mention engine wear... Here you go, the new Mobil 1, has lower engine wear protection ;-)
Oh man the roads will be littered with blown engine fragments from these.......

I just had a UOA completed on Mobil1 10w-30 and it came back with over 100 ppms of moly, not sure if this is residual moly or what, as I was running a bit of Redline in past OCI's. But I can't see residual oil increasing moly that much in straight Mobil1 sample. Mobil1 usually has about 65 ppms of moly.
