I've seen the Polaris oil is also less than stellar. Thanks for this. This is the oil that I run in my Polaris ATVs. M1 FS X2 5W-50 is wayyyy cheaper than the Polaris PS4.
Maybe a reason M1 dont show it on typical spec And aslo arent the Porsche approval A40 based on xx-40 viscositySAE j300 would not even allow it to be rated as a 50 under 16.3cst. For whatever reason Blackstone always shows viscosity as lower than it really is. Their "values should be" isn't even right either. Should say 16.3-21.9.
It is based on a minimum HT/HS value. It may have allowed grades but the technical basis is the HT/HS.Maybe a reason M1 dont show it on typical spec And aslo arent the Porsche approval A40 based on xx-40 viscosity
don't now if i go with mobil delvac 1 5w-40 or m1 5w-50 in my land cruiser (diesel), Probably the m1 5w-50 have work good in your Rover diesel? Thanks for posting, my go-to oil on the Porsches and the Rover diesel, but after a discussion w/ a few other P'car folks, I may switch to Redline 10w-50...
Hi, yes, but the engine has less than 10k mi/16K km. The oil pressure is very high, so I am thinking of the Delvac 5w-40, but I have not had any issues w/ the 5w-50. Both are very good choices. Given your local climate, I may go w/ the 5w-40, but either will be excellent choices.don't now if i go with mobil delvac 1 5w-40 or m1 5w-50 in my land cruiser (diesel), Probably the m1 5w-50 have work good in your Rover diesel?
