Mobil 1 0W30 Advance Fuel Economy Pour Point?

However looking at the product data sheets (pds) for 5W30 & 10W30 Extended Performance shows both the pour points and viscosity index listed. Did they forget or is this some classified proprietary information?

If you a do a google search you'll find that they used to list it, and that information is still available online. However, we don't know if there's been any formulation change so we don't know if those numbers are still valid

Considering Mobil 1 15W-50 had a pour point of -54C in the 90s, someone in the Research and Debacle department probably recommended the omission of that data. After all nobody in the world would expect their second lightest 0W- oil to have a lower pour point than one of the heaviest oils they make...would they?

Doing a quick comparison, all the fields listed in both documents share the same values, but that doesn't mean that there haven't been changes

All joking aside this is a 2007 data sheet for Mobil 1 0W-30 showing -54C as the pour point. It is not labeled as AFE formula but perhaps the formula carried over? If so it's probably one of the best oils they make.

I have no idea if the formula has been changed in the last several years, but Mobil did say that they only added the AFE name to it for marketing purposes.
