Forgot # of filter but wix made Microguard. Off a co workers 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe 4cylinder. 47,xxx miles on vehicle. I'd say it looks good. Put a Premium Guard OEM knock off filter and VWB 5w30 old sodium formula from "da stash" in and on

"O" ring gasket seemed to be peeling off as you see in last piece. Some of.it was hangin around baseplate when filter was removed. Dunno what to think of that

These are filters awesome. No combo valve thing unlike many other MG tiered options.

I am running one now on a diesel garden tractor. Never any issues with quality.

Is this the value-priced Microgard I sometime see at places like O'Reillys, Advanced Auto and Autozone?

I know Adam dislikes Purolator and he's not disliking this one. So are these made by Champ or Fram? Or are they from Korea or China-made?

They are O'Reilly made by Wix. I have been thinking about using them for my vehicles because their site says they are synthetic media but I'm not sure I believe that for $4.99 when the same Wix filter says it's Enhanced Cellulose at $8.99. This filter the OP posted says it's Enhanced Cellulose so I'm guessing the site is wrong for the mgl1036/1040.

Yep, WIX made. I wouldn't put a tearolator on a lawn mower
