My wife's friend drops by yesterday and is driving a new car. Been a while since I seen them and she did have a Corolla.. talk about a upgrade! Don't know if it was a C250 or C350 but it was the sport model. What a sexy machine! I'm somewhat disappointed in the 4 and 6 cylinder only. Thought MB's had 8's but I'll admit I'm not familiar with the brand. I guess that means I could probably drive one then... me and high horsepower shouldn't mix thanks to the car shows of my childhood. I'd turn off the traction control...

Real Mercedes have diesels.

I think this model has been out for a while... May be due for a refresh soon.

Good looking car!

MB usually puts 8-cylinder engines in the E-Class, the next step up, and the S-Class, the top of the line sedan. Also the SUVs, I think. The 4 and the 6 are pretty energetic engines.

I love the way the current C-Class looks.

My uncle has one, I think it's a C300 that came off lease and certified from the MB dealer. Pearl white, loves the car except for the gas mileage. It maybe all wheel drive I'm guessing. Real nice highway cruiser.

Somehow I knew something about diesels would come up.. Good option but we don't get the good ones. It defiantly has good lines. Not too bubbly aerodynamic some of the new models. Can't turn off TSC what a waste! The 4/6's may be enough seeing that 6 puts out 300hp. 6.3 V8 wowsers that would be a blast to drive!!

Yup... fuel economy is definitely not this car's forte. My wife has the C300 AWD. It will do 27-28 MPG if strictly cruising on the hwy, but throwing in any sort of city driving is a massive MPG killer. She gets 20-21 mpg in mixed driving. Other than that, it drives rather well. It feels rather nimble considering its weight. It would have been even nicer with a manual trans.

I have been looking around at various vehicles, just to get an idea as to what vehicle would fit me; not me fit into it. I found that a "C" Class Mercedes fits me. A salesman showed me a 4 cylinder 1.8 L with 201 hp; I told him, forget it; then he showed me a 3.5 L with 302 hp; well the C350 seems to meet the 300 hp minimum horsepower for me. The C63 AMG V-8 with 451 hp was very nice, with a NICE price to go with it. Then I saw the C63 AMG 507 Edition V-8 with 507 hp, again, it had a NICE price to go with it too. The AMG's engines are supposed to be handcrafted by a specific Mercedes Mechanic/Machinist who puts his name on the engine.

Oh well, I can still dream...........

Very attractive car. Was all set to get one next year since paying off the crummy little Focus I have. But you know what? Having no car payment appeals more to me right now. But I still really want to have a Mercedes....maybe some day in the future...?

I have some experience with this brand. MPG'S has never been their forte and you pay a premium for HP.

I can't stand the I4 in the C. It's okay in the SLK however.

This model was redesigned earlier in the year.

Not really. There was a mild refresh about a year or two ago, but that's about it.

Maybe you're thinking of the new CLA?

Nice little cars, not bad for what they charge and they are very good in the snow.

You can put them in dyno mode and really slide around if your so inclined.

The AMG versions are just stupid fast and fun, naturally you can go as crazy as your budget will allow with Black Series additions available or ship the car off to Brabus if you want to go even faster.
