Maxlife DEX/MERC off the shelf in Walmart(Canada)?

I went for my usual round of price check on the shelf and noticed Maxlife ATF is not there anymore in multiple locations.

Walmart officially discontinue carrying it?
What other stores have it?

I have a car running off it.

Valvoline Maxlife ATF is one of the items I often check the availability of on WalMart.com. I've never seen it in-store and for the past few months, it has been out of stock online. I actually contacted WalMart customer service last week about the issue and a couple days later, a manager from my local WalMart left a voicemail explaining that they can't order it at this time. Discontinued or out of stock, I don't know.

I've seen it with sporadic availability in my locations, too, over the years. Canadian Tire or Partsource are probably your other options.

Unfortunately Amazon.com and Amazon.ca do not sell the same things. If it's sold by Amazon.com and not one of the other retailers they won't ship to Canada. Plus it would probably cost $20 to ship a $25 item.

Recently I bought 3 one gallon jugs of Maxlife ATF for about $17.50 each at the local Meijer store here in Indiana. That works out to less than $4.40 per quart. It's the best price I have seen on Maxlife.

Just came from my Walmart here in Florida, none there either.
Most of my local auto supply stores have it. Don't know what you have in Canada, but here Napa, Autozone, Advanced Auto carry it.

Off-Topic Alert. Not really necessary for me to open a new thread **

Is Maxlife fully synthetic? From my search it seems as if it IS Fully synthetic but I wonder why it is not advertised as fully synthetic on the gallon bottles vs the 1 quart bottle.

From my understanding, Valvoline is changing the label. I called the 1-800 number because I had (2) quart bottles with different labeling and the representative at Valvoline said there is no change in fluid, simply a different label.

It comes and goes around here too, for some reason or another. Normal.

It's one of the few ATFs that claim compatibility with "Nissan Matic S" right on the label. I hope it's not on the chopping block.

Not at walkways around here, but it used to be about 15 bucks a gallon at my local AAP until 6 months ago. So should have hoarded it, it's up to $22 now...
