Maxlife 5W30 '00 Blazer 3.8k coolant leak

after the first UOA we flushed the cooling system and installed the GM leak stop tabs. it seems to be working...

Looks good. Were you losing coolant at all visibly in the overflow tank?

If you plan on keeping your Blazer up past 150K or more, which it will do with ease, better plan on getting the gaskets changed.

what was the last brand of oil?

man that looks good for a blend! maxlife is really good stuff.. deff a 5k mile oil for sure!

I didn't notice any coolant loss, but wasn't really looking for it either.

the previous oil was bulk 5W30 from a QS quickie lube. I have no idea what it was.

probably QS?? lol sorry i had to.. it could have been penzoil or even walmart's ST oil (aka the top notch alien oil)
