Marathon stations now Casey's

Speedway also seems to be the highest prices consistently
In Ohio, it's called "the Speedway effect". They are probably the most common fuel/convenience stores around (I pass 3 on a 2.5 mile stretch of the same road to/from work) and they are always the first to raise prices for no logical reason. When they do, it's a trickle or rolling effect of all nearby stations typically following their lead and matching the price. There's a Murphy station in the middle of that stretch that normally holds out for a day before Speedway drops their price or Murphy eventually raises theirs to 3¢ lower than Speedway.

Marathon had Tier 1 fuel.
Will the Casey's be same?
Sounds like Casey's is offering better condtions to their franchisees or location wouldnt convert.

Same here. Anytime Casey's buys out stations the trend is for fuel prices to increase.
Everything is cheaper since casey's took over here vs before when Marathon Minit mart ran the show. E10 87 is 2.89 here Casey's has been setting the price considering other stations are 3.07.
My friends got a large raise in pay and employee benefits have improved.

Generally jobs like that have seen pay increases, primarily for retention purposes. Once you've got an employee who's actually willing to work and show up, it's good to try and keep them around.
