MAG1 Dex VI or ST Dex VI

The Mag1 is full synthetic (grp III). Isn't the ST a blend?

I would think that these two MAG1 fluids and the ST version are all the same product. I can't see WPP making/packaging different versions of the same fluid. It would be interesting to see if they all have the same GM License # for Dex VI.

At any rate, I would have absolutely no qualms using either in my GM.. At $3.77 a qt the ST is a very good deal, IMO.

Ok, I always thought the ST was a blend. Does it say anything on the bottle about being full syn?

I can get the Mag 1 for around the same price as the ST so I may lean that way.

pretty sure the Redline and Amsoil varieties of Dex VI are full synthetic.

The spec calls for a blend. There are a few grp III full syns.

Yes, both are full synthetic.

I went with Supertech when I did mine a few weeks ago. Bought 20 quarts at $3.77/quart and used almost 14 when doing the cooler line flush. Shifts great. I think the most important thing I did though was install a Magnefine filter on it. I'll see what the filter looks like in a year in order to know what benefit it is.

Did the ST bottle say Full Syn?

If we are to believe the posted viscometrics it is clear that at least one of the MAG1s is not an approved DEXRON-VI. Anyone got a license number off the bottle?
