Comments on report:
Wear metals are within acceptable limits.
Particle contamination remains high due to dust particles which could lead to increased wear.
Oil condition appears satisfactory.
Monitor contamination and wear trend next sample.
Check air intake as the source of dust entry.

Virgin TBN: 12.38 (Excess in the old bottle).

Looks like they got the additives from it as well. I cant explain the high sulfur numbers, its in both the UOV and the VOA.

Driving Conditions:
All suburban driving. Driven once every 2-6 weeks.

Refilled with: M1 0W40 SN
Filter: M1-254
Vehicle is still the weekender.
OCI will be set between 2-3 years (DEC 2015+) depending on future mileage

Sample 4:


I changed the spark plugs during this interval took a photo of the intake valve while I had the upper manifold off. (Port injection)
