Nissan's Altima manual recommends 0W20 and also states that 5W30 conventional can be used. What this means that any oil between the two grades listed can be used. I run 5W30 synthetic in my Altima but if I lived in Minnesota I would be running 0W30 synthetic.

0w-30 full synthetic is a dream come true for both vehicles. Drive that Pontiac more often and don’t be afraid to run both engines in the upper rev band occasionally (after they are warmed up) Letting cars sit is not good.,They need to be driven on a regular basis. Mobil 1 0w-30
