Yes, but it seems that all the bikes that interested me were located in Florida or somewhere else back east. I'm just putting the feelers out there to see if any bitogers are closer to so cal with a bike for sale.
I decided to buy a reliable classic. 1978 Yamaha XS650. Keeps me from acting stupid like I did on my Sport Bikes.
Just asked around Church to see who had something interesting parked in the basement or barn. Took a little TLC to get started after a decade but it's an enjoyable way to waste an afternoon.
If i trusted other motorists enough to not kill me i would probably buy a Kawasaki Z400. Nice and light, has an appropriate level of power to stay out of trouble yet have fun, and can just buy a new one for fairly cheap.
