It will be interesting to see if this end up being LG Chems problem again (like bolt) or Jag for not getting the BMS right.

Jaguar I-Pace Battery Class Action Lawsuit: LG Chem Batteries Again?

The Jaguar I-Pace, which uses LG battery cells, was recently recalled due possible battery fires. The lawsuit says Jaguar sold vehicles knowing of the defect.

I haven’t had a ton of experience with LG but it seems that their North America products are more problematic than their Asian based stuff. I’ve seen LG air conditioning run for years in SE Asia. I know of a LG microwave that has lasted many years without a hitch. Personally I bought a LG washing machine assembled in their Thailand factory in 2008. It still works.

Over here though I keep hearing bad things about them. A good friend just bought a LG washer and dryer set. Time will tell how they will hold up.

I love Jaguar. I always have. I've owned a couple, but giving up their heritage for this new crap has not been good. The iPace is a good looking vehicle that looks like the newer design language, but I really want the round lights and leaping cat emblems back, just modernized. The XJ x350/x358 was peak Jaguar sedan design.
