By far the best I have found is keiths hand cleaner. http://m.facebook.com/pages/Keiths-Hand-Cleaner/257934967561399?id=257934967561399&_rdr#!/profile.php?v=info&id=257934967561399&__user=1560283248

Either whatever kind of orange hand cleaner is on sale or Dawn dishwashing liquid.

For heavy grease/dirt I use Joe's Hand Cleaner. O'Reilly sells it. It works very well on most any degree of grease/dirt and it does not dry out my skin. For not-so-bad dirty hands I use Fast Orange or Lava.

I don't know about the chemicals, but gloves are the way to go.

Vibra-clean.....haven't been able to find it for years. It must have been too good so the EPA outlawed it.

Shipping is high, but if it's Vibra-Clean you want:

Not even close to close.

What do ou use ?

ZEP Cherry Bomb, best in the business. AA has it at the commercial desk.

That's what we've used at work for years and we haven't found anything that works better yet.working on heavy duty trucks, the most stubborn dirt we run across is clutch dust mixed with grease or 5th wheel grease. Ice found Dawn dish soap works the best on this stuff

FWIW I just got my AAP sales flyer in the mail today and they will have Fast Orange on a BOGO deal starting on the 28th. 7.5 ounce bottles, regular price $2.49 each, Buy One Get One Free Feb. 28th thru March 27th.

My overall favorite it the lanolin hand cleaner from Amsoil. Will get your hands clean from just about anything short of brakes and is not harsh.

Though I don't see it on their site anymore? Is it gone?

Truly bad dirt gets an abrasive orange cleaner.

You fellas seem to have no problem at all with Dawn dishwashing soap as suggested by others, but lots of problems with laundry soap as suggested by me. Hmmm...

Liquid Tide works a treat; you should try it. It's a bit harsh for long-term/professional use; but, for the home grease-monkey it's great.

I just use whatever dishwashing liquid we have. Sometimes I had to wash it 2-3 times to get most of the grease off the fingers and hands.

Yeah, but that cherry Little Trees air freshener scent sure makes you want to take a gulp.

I could see it working in a pinch...we use LOTS of powder Tide to clean floors at work because it is a good degreaser. I don't like getting it on my hands though. It takes a while to rinse off, doesn't loosen up grime as well as soaps containing pumice, and if you have cuts on your hands it burns.

Yeah, this is what I was going to suggest. I bought the large bag and wall-mount dispenser the last time, it works great.
