Just put Delavac 15w40 with Auto RX in my car and I was wondering if I can use LC with it or should I wait until the rinse phase?

Thanks!

Best to wait. I have seen both used in my own experiments and in racing applications but CLEANING was NOT what we were doing .

Use FP60 now !

Hi Terry,

I just got the new car...2001 Audi S4 so 2000 mazda 626 is going up for sale...

Do you think I should take a sample when I drain the oil with Auto Rx or I should wait and take sample of the flush oil?

Dejan

I liked the 626.....sample whenever you choose, I read right through Auto/Cycle- RX.

Best not to combine add in multiple chemistries at the same time. Run the rinse phase and then add either LC, or a maintenance dose of ARX to subsequent oil changes.

Sorry to ask....I have figured out some of the acronims(sp) that are used here that are not listed in the table in the sticky post. But what is "Delavac"?

Thanks,
Snotty

It is just mis-spelled, should be "Delvac 1300S 15W40" This is one of Mobil's dino diesel engine oils. The other is Delvac1 5W40, a full synthetic. Both are super oils.

OK, what if you drop in a maintenance dose of AutoRX at the beginning of your OCI? I have been then using LC as I progress through the OCI. Good idea or bad idea?

Also, what is the effect of AutoRX on organo-moly additives, such as SynPower?
