and possible in-law accommodations! I can even throw a lawn tractor or 3 in there. I paid a few extra bucks and had it built in 8hrs instead of taking me 2 weekends like the few others I've done and helped with. The only things I did were build the loft, workbench and wire it up.. oh and paint it of course. It took me longer to prime/paint then to have the darn thing built!

Where is your stash of oil, or do you keep it inside? To me it looks too organized and uncluttered. I guess that comes with time.

Thanks guys. I keep my oil in my temperature controlled basement (how anal is that). The shed is 10'x16', 8ft side walls, set on 9 4"x4" piers dug 48" below grade. The 16ft long skids you see are set on top of the piers. The floor is PT 2x4's set 12"OC w/ 3/4" PT plywood decking on top of that. It's pretty sturdy, but I wish I'd gone w/ 2x6 floor decking to make it a bit more rigid. I've had good luck with gambrel roofs w/ the snow load we get. Not a lot of material to them, but strong. I've got about $3K into it.

The way business and this economy have been going that looks like it could be the perfect retirement home for me. Nice shed!

Bahaha! Two snowblowers per Western NY household is not an uncommon thing unfortunately. Actually, the little red Toro snowthrower was given to me a few years back. A good fuel system cleaning, new fuel line, sparkplug and primer bulb was all it needed. The yellow/green Yardman/MTD is my main machine. Oh.. plus you gotta have some type of generator too. Next to the Toro is my little Coleman Powermate 1850.

Very nice shed/workshop! Do you plan on doing some work in there during the winter, you have electric so you can run a heater? I have a workshop that is a little bit bigger that I love going out to during the winter and doing some work. Very nice yard you got! I'm guessing you live in the southtowns??

Thanks. Yes I could hide.. I mean work in there, but most work I try to do in the garage. Hopefully the shed will keep the garage roomy enough to actually work in. That's actually my neighbors house/yard you see in the background behind the shed. My shed is off to the side of my garage. This is my mowing.. er.. yard you see from the shed. I'm out in West Falls:
