I grew up watching F Troop. He was 99. Would have been 100 in Jan.

He was a character. Odd haircut and big sideburns. F Troop was a one of a kind show.

Here's a tidbit on that show. The girl that played Wangler Jane, Melanie Patterson auditioned as a joke with her 15 year old girlfriend and they lied about their age saying they were 18. The thing was they liked Melanie for the part so much that they hired her. A couple days later Melanie showed up with her mom who explained to the director that Melanie was only 15. It mildly hit the fan due to child labor laws at the time but she was the perfect fit for the part so they worked around the filming limitations.
