When i owned two jdm subarus, gf8 and a b4 rsk, they would definitely not drive as intended when i just got in it and drove away in cold weather. They didnt seem to want to boost as normal, ie the throttle input snd power delivery was vastly different in a cold engine. Once everything was warmed up, it took little throttle to get into boost. Dunno if that helps. Figured it was just a subaru thing lol. They were extremely temperamental cars
