Knock sensor in the Crown Vic 4.6

Didn't the 03 and higher get the knock sensor?Getting conflicting answers.Believe the Mustangs got it 2.

Per the Ford parts catalog, the Mustang GT got a knock sensor (12A699 basic) in '96, and the Vic got one in '02. The Lincoln Mark beat them all in '93

lincoln mrk 8 also used an alumimum block made by Teksid in Italy and had DOHC heads.

I've got a previous generation Hyundai V6 that has an aluminum block and DOHC heads, too. So, what finally became of that Italian Stallion Ford motor?

they stopped using the Teksid block and replaced it with the WAP aluminum block in the cobras and explorers. the 03.04 cobras got iron blocks because of the supercharger.

sorry, Windsor Aluminum Plant, theyre canadian eh. i think now they use the NVH (noise vibration harshness) block thats quieter somehow.
