Keeping Your Ride Until 2035

Planning on keeping my 2001 tundra 160k miles till 2045... I got a 2nd beater car aka the 94 ls400 which I plan to keep till 2035. 1uz and 2uzfe best engines ever made paired with a340s and a341s

I have a Mallory Unilite distributor in my 1970 Monte Carlo and I'm not even sure if I can get the modules for it anymore. I have not looked in years.
Which model?

Yes my Tacoma will certainly last another 12 years, with the exception of unforeseen events... who knows.

That is a good question. I don't know what model it has in it. It was put in back in the mid 90's and I don't remember. I'm not sure if there are any numbers on the unit itself. The next time I'm at the car I will look. Car has a 396 big block in it but I don't know if there were different distributors that could have been used or if they have changed over the years.

2035 is only twelve years from now. That ain't long. Heck, after twelve years, I was still referring to my Cobalt as my "new car".

Piece of cake for me. My 88 E150 is still going strong, and with any luck I'll still have it. I don't see why I'd have a problem, especially if we buy a new ICE vehicle within the next 12-18 months as we're planning. If things go as I hope ICE will be around long after the 2035 pipe dream to eliminate them. ;)
