I just changed my oil in the boat last night. The last time i ran it was a week ago. I figured by now, the oil is all in the pan. When i got home from work, i put a pan heater on the pan to warm the oil. In about 3 hours, the pan was warm. I have a hose connected to the drain plug. I hook a pump directly to the hose end, and in 5 minutes i have pumped exactly 4 quarts out of the pan. This is exactly what i put into it the last change. Took off the filter, filled the new one with 20 oz fo Delo 400 sae 30, and added 4 quarts to the crankcase. This works for me. Just thought i would share this.
