I just bought it a week ago last Thursday with no Co signer and 1,000 dollars down payment, it also was only built in July so it is definitely brand spanking new! I love it way better then my old 2002 Chevy Cavalier with 97800 miles on the Odometer with rust holes everywhere.

Enjoy the car. It's a great car, a good value, reliable, and most importantly it is affordable, so you'll have it paid off sooner than most folks who spend at least 30k on vehicles today.

My wife hates these things, but they're my favorite sub-compact on the market! Very neat-looking and versatile. If only they could beat out the Civic for gas mileage - it doesn't seem that they typically do.

Excellent choice. I'm sure it will give you many years of trouble-free service. Congrats.

Also, post a pic...

The Honda Fit is, in my opinion, the ideal compact car. Fun to drive, economical and properly configured to be roomy for both people and cargo.

My dad, a retired attorney who can afford whatever car he desires, drove his friends Fit and said he wouldn't mind owning one.

Filled in a couple of the holes for ya!

My nephew has one that is a 2010 and he loves it. It fits his surfboard no problem and gets good mileage on his commute to school.

It is a great little car.
I almost bought a 2013 Fit Sport in white. I loved it.

BUT.

Gas mileage even with Civic as mentioned before, and I found the seats uncomfortable, unlike in the Civic, is what killed it for me.

Oh, and lack of sunroof available. I use mine all the time in the spring/summer/fall months.

It is awesome otherwise, totally agree.

This isn't a deal-breaker for me. It's a proven powertrain that's been around for nearly a decade now and it's a box on wheels. The box has smoothed edges, but it still doesn't have a profile like that of a Civic. It would be cool if they'd put the R18 engine into the Fit, even as an optional engine. I wager that it'd get the same or nearly the same mileage as the L15 due to not working as hard, and would likely offer better performance as well.

This is unfortunate. I, too, use the sunroofs on our two all the time, especially in the three temperate seasons around here (fall/winter/spring). I have a Honda accessory air deflector on it and you can still easily hold a conversation in the car at 75 mph with the roof open. It's nearly silent. I'd never believe it unless I experienced it myself. And fortunately, the deflector was already on the car when I bought it; it's probably something I'd have never considered buying.

I think they should just go all the way and make a Fit SI or Type-R.
A K20 powered Fit would be just fine by me... There are no more crazy cars anymore like there used to be back when. We don't even get the good stuff over here half the time anyway, like the Civic Type-R's you see elsewhere in the world. Frustrating indeed.

But yes an R18 powered Fit would probably be more fun, and just as economical.

If you really want to go all the way then let's make it RWD and drop in the F20C.

Enjoy! We really like our 2009. Same as your 2013, except no VSC or traction control.

Since you're in VT, ditch the round rubber things that Honda passes off as tires for a set of pretty much anything in 205/50-16. The 20mm of additional rubber on each corner makes the Fit handle like a go-kart, and the gas mileage hit is 1-2 mpg. We have Continental DWS's on ours, and they made it a different car. Quieter, better ride, much better handling, and vastly improved wet/snow traction.

Also, spring for a set of snow tires. The OEM tires in either Bridgestone or Dunlop flavors are horrid in the snow. Ours was undrivable much past 35 mph on the stock Bridgestones since the rear end slid all over the place.

Mine are 15 inch because I bought the base model. I am going to look online for tires and see what I can get for winters, hopefully I can get some good ones for it. It is a lot cheaper even after buying online then buying locally even after paying to have them shipped and installed.

I looked this up and you can get a supercharger for it though.

I am enjoying it very much as of now, I just installed the vent visors for it and got it inspected for the first time.

My wifes 2010 Fit Sport still running well with about 105K on the clock. She can get upwards to 42-43 mpg in the summer months Good car. Not much in maintenance other than oil changes and brakes and tires.

Yokohama now makes a tire in the weird size that comes with the Sport Much better tire than the stock Dunlops. Rides smoother, quieter and no mpg hit
