So all this time I've been posting in my signature the progress on the mileage for my Ford F150. Today I reach the milestone of 400,000 miles and . . . wait for it . . . the digital odometer clicks from 399,999.9 to . . . 300,000! WHAT!?! I do the customary double take and it's official, the digital odometer on the 93 F150 doesn't go above 300K. Talk about anticlimatic. Yeah, like anyone's gonna believe me when I turn 500K, or that I even hit 400.

I'm not surprised, it surfaced on corolland that corolla's odo goes only to 299,999 miles or so. It tells you what the designed life is I guess. Congrats on getting your money worth from this truck.

Any tips on oils, OCI, maintenance etc?

For sale, one lightly used F150. 93 model, only driven to church on Sundays, and the occasional pass down the quarter mile. Only 300,000 miles. Oil changed regularly.

I'll take it! LMAO

What about the digital odometers? Im assuming they go up to 999,999 miles. Oh wait that one was a digital odo.

With all these lube change shops out there selling just about any fluid (brake, steering, etc.) they can stock, and tracking maintenance, I'm believing there's a lot of cars and trucks out there that are clean as a whistle internally. I do all my own work and if this is a testament to anything, it would be to this site and the advice given on keeping up with all the fluid, belt, and hose changes.
