Is the coolant for a 1995 Civic an OAT coolant?

I know that the current Honda OEM coolant is called Type II and is blue.

Is this suitable for all Honda's and all years? In particular a 1995 Civic?

Honda green coolant is considered a P-OAT.

Either buy some Honda stuff from a dealer, or get Zerex Asian, or get Beck/Arnley coolant.

Silicate coolant destroys Honda water pumps.

Great answer. If you opt for the Zerex, make sure to get the one that is for pre-1996 Honda/Acura vehicles. Costs about $2-$3 more than the 1996 - present Zerex at O'Reilly's which is about $2-$3 less than original Honda fluid.
