Iron Sheik

RIP. Thanks for the great memories and some very big matches that wrestling fans will never forget.

I was just watching the WWE documentary about him the other day, he lived a very interesting life and came to the USA with nothing and barely spoke any English. He worked his tail off and climbed through the ranks to headline some very important WWF storylines back in the 80’s and 90’s.

If anyone gets a chance watch the documentary, he lived the American dream.

I got a TON of respect for the Iron Sheik.

His main move was the Camel Clutch. Beat Bob Backland back in the day for the WWF belt with that move/hold. You are going back a longggggggg time. Luved wrestling as a kid growing up. RIP Iron Sheik.

I remember going to see him and Sgt. Slaughter in the 80's at RPI in Glenns Falls NY. My dad and I love watching the WWF. Was entertaining. RIP.

Way back when I remember Bruno Sammartino (Italian wrestler), Wildman Firpo (Argentinan) and Gorgeous George in the ring. Fake as hell but nobody cared.
