The oil shown in the link you provided is the "old" Rotella 15w40 ... the CI-4+ oil that was available before the new CJ-4 "Triple Protection" came out.

I think I've still seen that at my local Wal-Mart, but the amount of shelf space it gets is getting less and less.

I've been running the CJ-4 15w40 in my Goldwing and the UOAs seem very good. Until I learn different, the Triple Protection 15w40 is my oil going forward.

I've been using the CJ-4 15W40 in my Bandit 1250 and it seems to be working very well...

My owners manual recommends SF/SG or SH/SJ and SJ is on the Shell label, so it meets the API requirements...

Currently using it in my Yamaha WR250R, works great, no foaming. Several of the Mo'cycle specific oils foamed rather severly in the little yam. Sight glass looked like I had diet coke in the crankcase!
