I agree with Dewlana. Too many 'always' it these questions. We were taught that whenever you see the word 'always' there is a good possibility that the question is wrong. I wound up in Dalai Lama territory. But if there had not been so many 'always' and stuff like that it the questions I probably would have been more towards the middle. I am pretty moderate in most things.
These issues discussed are too complex for simple answers. Take abortion, as an example. I don't like the idea of abortion but it depends on the circumstances. What if the woman had been raped? What if the woman was going to die if she did have the child? And if a woman is bound and determined to get an abortion, then it is better for her to get the abortion in a hospital or medical clinic instead of a back ally. In my opinion, you can't answer the question about whether abortions should be allowed with a simple answer. It depends on the circumstances.
Same thing with many other issues. Any complex issue probably does not have a simple solution.
And I am more liberal on some issues and more conservative on others. For example, I really do not care if two men or two women decide to live with each other. But I am against legalizing gay marriage. How come? For one thing, I feel people should be allowed to vote on such things rather then some judge issuing a ruling. For another thing, gay marriage threatens the important concept of marriage being between a man and a woman and creation of a family. For another thing, once this door is opened what comes next? Man-boy relationships? Adult and child relationships? Where do YOU draw the line?
In my opinion, this test is useless.
