They do have "Side Post" batteries as I saw them at my dealer when I bought my "Top Post" battery.

AGM technology is awesome. And pandabear, I didn't pay $440. That is just list price with taxes here (12%). Any battery dealer would be crazy to charge that price, so I paid $330 for it.

No offense but why is agm "awesome"? I'm in the industrial battery business and couldn't recommend conventional flooded batteries enough. Whether it is SLI or deepcycle.

Conventional flooded batteries without exception will have a higher capacity and provide a longer service life at a cheaper cost at any given battery size when compared to AGM or Gel. The only trade off is you will have to check the electrolyte levels periodically if there are vent caps.

There are certainly applications that Gel and AGM excel at such as stationary backup/UPS and remote operations. But they typically are only in float service. And preventive maintenance on 24- 120 cell strings can get tedious.

That's pretty impressive

Just put a group 65 Die Hard Platinum in my SVT Raptor. I've installed them in every car and truck we've owned.

Truck is only 6 months old but wanted the best battery in there.

Wish they made a size for the current Mustang.

Still running on the factory Panasonic in the Subaru, circa 2005.

I am surprised really, it is a tiny little thing haha.
