my car takes the toyota 04152-yzza5 , i replaced during this change with the trd filter ptr43-00079, the height and OD looks the same but the inside diameter is different. its not snug on the tube like the yzza5. should i be concerned?

If that's a cartridge, it doesn't have to be snug on the center tube, because the primary sealing is against the end. I've had other-brand equivalents to my 04152-yzza6 that were overly snug, and others very loose---which is ok, within reason. The genuine 04152-yzza6 was perfect, easy to place over the tube, but not so loose as to fall off the tube's retainer bump.

You talking about the threads? If so, threads can be cut to be a "loose" or a "tight" fit. If it's the right filter for your vehicle I wouldn't be concerned.

yes its a cartidge. I checked some videos and the Amsoil filter is exactly the same as the TRD in the centre is bigger as well so I feel confident my engine will not blow up .

Got ya now. Like said, if the filter is specifically for your vehicle I wouldn't worry about it.

That's not a problem, as long as the holes in the centers of the end caps are not so large that the ends don't seat solidly against whatever they're supposed to seat against in the housing and cap. That kind of defect is unlikely unless someone sold you the wrong filter.
