Im so low on Gas i heard a "Pop" sound

I also heard/felt a "Pop" then the car acceerated, and i am really really low on Gas.

yes its on "E"

I pressed on Gas, i heard a "Pop" .. then the car kept going

Does this mean im "On Fumes?"

And what was that "Pop" its been awhile since i heard sound like that i hope it is just Low Low Gas

Backfiring like when you run a lawn mower down to the last drops. You should probably fill 'er up since doesn't gasoline act as the lubricant and cooler for modern car gas tank pumps?

Why not just get gas when the light comes on and before the needle hits E. You don't wanna run the fuel pump dry or else you will cause some damage to your vehicle.

Yep. You will eventually damage your fuel pump if you allow it to become unsubmerged often. It will run hot and this will caise it to seize.
