Go to "Las Cuatro Milpas" in the Barrio Logan, San Diego. Since 1933.
Plus the cars are fantastic.

Las Cuatro Milpas

Low riders and hot rods?

I've got a great b&w framed pic in my shop, circa 1950's of hot rods and low riders (Chevy Deluxe) racing/hanging out at night, in the empty viaducts of downtown Los Angeles.

Harleys, Rat Rods, custom Schwinn Sting Rays, you name it.

We fly to San Diego twice a year to visit Sue's folk's gravesite.
The food is amazing...

Please refrain from religious commentary. Like politics and sex, your personal opinions and beliefs are just that: personal and private.

Actually, absolutes like "more important than" may not be the best way to look at it...
TBT, nothing is more important than money in this world.
If you are broke, getting shelter, health care, food, etc. will make your life miserable and probably shorten it.
We live in a money driven world.

If you are lucky enough to have the basics in life, you have more than many.
Some people are lucky enough to have extra.
This opens opportunities to use money to gain happiness, such as giving a child an education, helping friends not as lucky, etc.

Just my 2 cents.

For sure...
And they probably do wish they had helped more people, or done more with people close to them.
Unfortunately, this takes money.

Money can open up doors/pathways through which one can find joy and happiness. Imagine being able to make wishes come true for sick children? Or being able to donate a large amount of money to something like St Jude's or Shriners to help out families during trying times?.. that to me is how money can provide joy. I've personally not experienced joy or happiness by just holding money...but that's just me.

And maybe they wish they weren't dying on their death bed?

I am sure this is true for many.
Right now my goal is to help a few people while I can.
Hopefully this will serve me well when my time comes.
I know it makes me happy now.
Wish me luck...

The guy in the beater wants a new car.
The guy on the bike wants a beater.
The guy at the bus station wants a bike.
The guy on on foot wants a bus ticket.
The guy in the chair wants to walk.

Perspective.
