If doing extended OCI's my pick would be PP 5w30

I would 2nd Valvoline MaxLife 5w30...especially since my vehicle has over 75,000 miles on it....

If your looking filters....a Purolator PureOne is my favorite.

Royal Purple in the appropriate weight for the vehicle at hand. I don't feel you can pick just one weight to answer this as some vehicles need a specific weight( like 5W-20 for Chrysler MDS )that you may not want to use in other vehicles. Don't think you can specify a weight with this unless it is one vehicle specific. If it is just oil specific than IMO you can only asnswer about a brand/line of oil without a weight mentioned. JMHO.

If it HAD to be dino oil for whatever strange reason then GTX.

Would buy it in a heartbeat down here.

Up until a day ago, I would have said GC..... until I saw how dismal it performed in a Toyota 4-Runner.

Since two of our vehicles are VW's and we need a HT/HS of at least 3.5.......I suppose I would have to go with.....

Shell Rotella T6, 5w40.

Oh please, don't tell me that you are going to lose your trust in an oil over one oil sample? Those one sample UOAs are near worthless.

I will say Mobil I 10W30, it is good general purpose oil, for my weather (TN). I never had an oil related failure in my life, over about 4 cars.
