Pretty sure on one of the programs showing Jay's garage of cars that they put Mobil-1 in the engine after rebuilding on that episode... Not sure...

Leno's Garage did a spot on Valvoline, but then again they also did a spot on my company's product from a few years ago...they do not actually use the product (but thought it was cool), but gladly accepted the big fat check that was written to them. Answer-- they use whatever they want, and endorse whatever pays the bills. Jay has a few full-time wrenches at his shop and they are all nice guys, I am sure they use 10 different kinds of oils for all the cars he has.

"I don't think so Tim!"

I've seen Leno use or show Mobil 1 on his videos. Obviously with the huge number (over 160 from what I have read) of types and ages of vehicles he has, he has to use quite a wide range of oils. Considering the low miles put on all of his vehicles, he likely uses a lot of Castrol GTX or Valvoline non synthetic oils.

I grew up on Home Improvement. IMHO, one of the greatest shows ever on television.
