Meh, it stinks, not as bad as GM supercharger oil by any stretch.

Pablo's post reminds me a lot of George LeBay

I took 2 of the gallons back. They wouldn't take back the one with the broken seal.

I can donate it to a good home on the south shore.

I did a 12 Qt maxlife dex/merc ATF coolant line flush in my 2007 camry about 2 months ago. Its my wife's car she has a good nose and has had no smell issues. It did have a distinct smell but a lot of oils and lubes do. I use simple green and clean any drips up.

not a big deal.

Really, I'm shocked!
Me too.

And yes, having just purchased and used Castrol IMV, it smells fishy. So if odor or lack of it is your priority in ATF selection, between ML and Castrol IMV, pick your poison.

Hey, if Valvoline included a stink disclaimer ("Don't keep it in the car!"), then it must be bad.

Was it anything like Mercedes' OEM power steering fluid? I bought some at the dealer once for my C230. Gack. Smelled like stale garlic pretzels marinated in male cat spray.

(Well . . . so I imagine, never having actually experimented . . .)

Wow.... Just... Wow....

I think I will try to return my a**hole to my mother because it smells bad sometimes. Oh wait, it does what its designed to!
