Hyundai : What AT fluid?

I use Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle ATF in my wife's Mitsu, which spec's the SP III. No issues so far.

the parts guy at the mitsu dealer admitted to me that sp-iii is ATF +3 and that they use bulk ATF +3 or 4 and sell the SP-3 over the counter.

I've been using valvoline ATF +3 in my inlaws mitsu vehicles, and not one complaint.

+ 1^^^^^ or Amsoil fluid. I put Wolf`s Head Synthetic in my daughters 2002 Elantra. Works very well on it.

i always thought that! that is why autozones web sight brings you to atf+4 when you set your car to hyundai and type atf in the search! mike
