Any opinions on this stuff from people who've used it? I guess it was recently bought by rislone. The MSDS indicates it's a bit better than Lucas stabilizer

Do tell regarding the SDS information. What data suggests better performance than Lucas stabilizer?

Lucas heavy duty SDS basically says 100% bright stock. In the hyperlube SDS there are antioxidants anti foaming agents and tackifiers .

Main ingredient is "Hype" maybe organic Hype, but still hype. Not something any decent engine will need. it might slow down an oil leak and buy time until a repair can be made, but so will a higher weight oil.

That information is from 2010 and the product was not made by the same manufacturer. The more recent version I linked above is from 2018 and made by Rislone.

Yeah the SDS changed when rislone took over. It says something about other ingredients being a trade secret. But I highly doubt they've changed the formula. No reason to do that. Also yes it is still made by the same manufacturer. It makes no difference that the company merged with Bars and Rislone.

There are lots of reason to do that and yes it does make a difference when companies merge. Management changes bring changes in mentality, outlook, and strategy. Regulations and composition declaration requirements haven't gotten any looser lately since Hazcom 1200 regulations went into effect. So if something that was disclosed before no longer is, chances are it isn't in there anymore.

Well hyperlube emailed me saying the formula has not changed.

Well they just responded to me saying that since they bought the company in 2017, they can't reference anything 100% back to 2010. So that means their records going back to then are incomplete and only go as far back as 2017. So yes, they might not have changed it, but that only goes to 2017 when they took control of it.

I did get a good vibe from the response though. It seems like they were being very genuine with the response even though they didn't have all the information I asked for. I give 'em an A+ for tech service just for the good response.
