With my plan to start using HPL oil soon, I figured it cant hurt to switch to HPL trans and gear oil also. From what I read the 6R80 in my F150 takes HPL Green ATF, and my rear didf calls for 75W140. The trans is something I have my cousin service at his shop, usually between 30-50k with Motorcraft fluid. Can the HPL trans fluid go longer without doing a UOA? I have Amsoil 75W140 in the rear diff as of now and it currently has 68k on that fill. Can the current Amsoil and HPL be used at 100k intervals without issues? All highway interstate miles rarely towing. Dont want to change the Amsoil early if not necessary

The gear boxes like the differential and the transfer case are simple devices which are more friendly to switches of this nature. However the transmission is a complex machine and there might be immediate consequences.

In a 2019 Lincoln MKT I used Redline ATF and there was immediate noise. I also tried a Ford licensed brand Mag1 and the trans seemed off. Eventually took it to the dealer, had it flushed and back to normal.

So me personally for a trans its best to use the fluid they tell you to use.

If you took it to a Ford or Lincoln dealer and had it "flushed" there's a good chance it was a BG machine with BG fluid. All four Ford dealers around me would only do an ATF change using the BG flush machine and BG ATF. None would even do a drain and fill with Mercon LV.

The Ford dealer would know what works and what doesnt with their transmissions. The Redline was simply not working in the 6 speed Explorer/MKT transmission. As for HPL or BG I have no idea.

Well they could start by actually having good, reasonably priced DC fast charging at their dealerships. Instead, they either disable it, make it crazy expensive, or block it in with cars.
Last I heard, FoRd CoRPorAtE made a lot of their dealerships install these things (against their will) and subsequently have limited to no demand for this investment. That's a few years old though for timeline comparison to now with EV mandates, incentives, rebates, etc long since expiring. EV's are cool and all, I would rather not have them shoved down my throat though.
