Hey Guys,

Sorry for the stupid question but I'm trying to post a Blackstone UOA pdf. How do I add it to the reply box in BITOG after I've added my comments?

I copied it to MS Paint in order to remove my personal info. I tried copying that into the reply box without luck too.

I see everyone else doing this without using the upload and post the link method. I didn't want to just type in the results but I will if I have to.

All suggestions are most appreciated.

Go to Imageshack/Photobucket/etc and open an account. Upload it and then link to it. I try and type the data out too since the hosting site may go away in the future. The reason I try and do both is that I've found that looking at a Blackstone report makes it easier to integrate the data since we're so used to seeing them.

If you use FoxIt PDF, they have a free version that will let you "select" the text, allowing you to copy/paste just the txt portion of the report

But yea, what you want to do is open the PDF, Print Screen, paste into Paint, save as a png (better quality) then upload to either tinypic, imageshack, bayimg, or any other reliable hosting provider

Open a Google account. Upload the PDF file in Google docs. Give access to/share with "everyone". Post the link to the file.

I whipped this together tonight; it will take a Blackstone PDF and convert it to a jpg with your personal info blacked out. You can save the image and host it on photobucket, etc... or I suppose you could just link to it from my server, I guess. But I won't guarantee that they won't go away at some point down the road.

Be gentle, it isn't robust code at all!
