You spent your life in segments?
I'm on Calcium Channel Blockers as well (Verapimil) for my migraines. It keeps blood vesels dilated and allows the blood to flow easier. It reduces the workload on the heart and lowers blood pressure. I'm on a small dose as I don't have any heart problems or blood pressure problems but do have the Hemi-Pelegic Migraines.

Heart spasms... it's a heredity thing. I'm the unfortunate or fortunate, can't decide which, one to figure it out.
StevieC what dose are you on? My doc says the lowest dose is 120mg. After two or three days my blood pressure drops to 115/75... talk about feeling funky!
