Always something going wrong on that thing. They should have sold it when it was newer and bought something else. It was a lemon IMHO.

The Sienna and XB are the only ones from this list that are left. Don't see those changing anytime soon.

Seven, six of which I still own. There are the vehicles in my signature, the 99 Explorer junker that I'm parting out but still own for now, and the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek that we outgrew and traded in for the Escalade.

I don't really know...I had a bit of a count, got to over 30, then thought of a few more...so a bit over 35 ? If we add in motorcycles there will be another 40 or more. I haven't a clue really, itemising my vehicles wasn't something I did or do.

Lets see...Keep in mind I usually have 4 to 5 cars at a time. Lot of the Turbo MoPars were bought cheap at auction

I'm 40 years old, I had cars since I was 17 for a total of 6. Not that much. I tend to keep cars for longer than most people around here.

I kept my first car 12 years, sold it because the engine quit and didn't want to put that much money in it.
My current daily driver which I bought new (Echo) turns 13 this year.

Given that narrow specification, and including cars bought for wives and kids, from 1975 forward, titled in my name for personal use, five Pontiacs, four Jaguars, three Fords, two Chevrolets, one Cadillac, one honda, one Volkswagon, and one Suzuki.

So, eighteen if my memory and arithmetic are correct, over forty two years. And I still own about half of them - the signature line doesn't allow enough room for them to be listed. Business property not counted in this tally.

I've had two that never got on the road (saw something that didn't exist in them). Seven runners in 25 years of driving, still have two of them (two were basically end of life when they went away). Wife is on her third car now, about the same driving span.

Still have never purchased one new:

1982 Ford EXP

2002 Ford Mustang GT
1994 Honda Prelude Si
2009 Hyundai Sonata V6 Limited
2006 Honda Accord V6 EX-L

Next one is for the wife and she wants new. It's going to be tough.

The order is jumbled up and I imagine I forgot a few but that's the bulk of them. I worked in a luxury body shop for several years and bought several wrecks for very little money, rebuilt them and curbstoned them.

Since 1985, in order of purchase:

1977 Mustang II
1980 Rx7
1980 Caprice (freebie)
1986 Rx7
1987 Rx7 turbo
1984 Accord (free)
1993 240sx hatchback
1993 Mx3
1995 4Runner
**1993 240sx convertible
**2001 Sequoia
1996 Corvette
**2012 Mazda3
1997 Corolla (another freebie)
**2012 Mazda2
**2017 Mazda3

The free cars were from parents, when they bought a new car they offered whatever they currently had to anyone in the family. I was the only one who worked on cars, if it needed work it usually ended up being mine.

The cars with the "**" are ones I still have.

The Sequoia is pretty much a garage queen that we previously used to pull a boat we had, now its only used in snow or to haul stuff. Didnt keep the Corvette for long, it wasnt anything special to drive in my opinion. It was in perfect shape when I got it, and just as perfect when I sold it.

The 240sx vert has been my daily driver (except on snowy days) for 17 years now. If it goes another 17 years, I'd be ok with that.

About 80. A few I would like to have back are a 65 Mustang, 62 Econoline PU, and VW Thing. I've had a Fiat, Corvair, Gremlin, Vega Wagon and 3 Chevy Luvs. I used to buy sell cars. One day I bought 3 cars from the local Toyota dealer when they would sell the cars headed to auction. Cash for clunkers and a poor economy killed that. Would you be shocked to know my dad was a used car dealer?

Aichiguy, your post about buying multiple made me think of a situation I was involved with...went to a county auction with my then-father in law, he bought 3 Dodge Dynastys, and when we started looking at the titles, we discovered that the VINs were sequential, so they apparently came off the line one after the other. Oddly enough 2 were 3.0L v6 and one had a 4 cylinder.
