Any actual analyzers care to weigh in? what I am asking is how long is the process from the time the lab tech/analyzer opens the bottle and begins the process? does it really take days? Twice now I have sent samples and it shows testing has started and several days later still shows in testing. last one the lab said testing started on the 14th and today stills shows in testing..is this the norm? I would love to see how the process all works if anyone has a site to show it in actual real time. thanks

One of my labs says 2 days after receiving the sample. They've not always met that deadline unfortunately.
thank you, who are you using? my tracking shows it was delivered to the lab 12 days ago been in testing for over a week and still no results..some reason watching the above podcast link does not really give me the warm and fuzzies on the process.
I think I will try oil analyzers inc next go round.

I use Schaeffer's lab they use out of Ohio (Predictive Maintenance) but be careful since Schaeffer's runs the show on their branded kits. Like I mentioned they've delayed past two days before so it's not going to be much better. Any lab I've used I stay on top of them by calling but even that isn't a guarantee it will be done within their policy.

Oil Analyzers typically takes 1-2 days. At least since my last samples sent last fall. I recall my results shipping out on a Monday. Arriving on a Wednesday. And getting results in my inbox by Thursday night or Friday morning.

I use Polaris Labs of Indianapolis. I will give an example of what usually happens. The sample is checked in around 10:00 AM on Monday, I will have the results sent to my e-mail by 9:00 PM on Wednesday.
